JACOB

Our 1st grantee in 2026 is Jacob from Scottsboro, AL. Jacob was diagnosed with AML in 2025 at 19 years old.

Jacob’s Story:

Jacob was working at the Toyota plant. He had recently graduated high school. He enjoys bass fishing, playing video games and watching football with friends and family. He has two older brothers. He lives with his grandparents in Northern Alabama.

Jacob wanted to go to Universal Studios with his brothers. They traveled there in April 2026.

“My wish was amazing… my favorite part of the trip was seeing the beauty of Orlando and getting to do it with my brothers – it meant everything to me cause they’re some of my favorite people ever!”
