SydStrong strives to honor Sydney’s memory by bringing joy and SydSmiles to young adults with leukemia.

Sydney was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) at 19 while a student at the University of Arkansas. Sydney fought her cancer battle with a smile and fierce determination. She was a miracle patient when she went into remission after her bone marrow transplant. She passed away on Christmas Day 2018 – days before her 22nd birthday.
